Many Women Experience Premenstrual Tension

There are of course women will experience periods of menstruation every month until your menopause. Etiology
Etiology of premenstrual tension are unclear, but possibly important factor is the imbalance of the hormones estrogen and progesterone with resistance due to fluid and sodium, weight gain, and sometimes edema. Clinical Manifestations
Complaints consisted of emotional disturbances such as irritability, anxiety, insomnia, headache, flatulence, nausea, enlargement and pain in mammae, and so forth. Whereas in severe cases there will be a depression, a feeling of fear, impaired concentration, and increased physical symptoms that have been mentioned previously.

Treatment
Small dose of synthetic progesterone can be given for 8 to 10 days before menstruation. In addition, during the five days of diuretics could be beneficial. While the use of salt should be restricted and the daily drinking should also be reduced during the 7-10 days before menstruation. Treatment no less important is the provision of psychological therapy in patients.
